Hannu Huhtamo’s images are instantly recognizable for their playful and otherworldly nature. Using different light sources as brushes and pencils, with darkness for his canvas, he has developed a unique style of drawing with light.
In this presentation, Hannu shares his techniques and the workflow he uses to create his gorgeous images. He will discuss his creative process, and will show how he transfers his concepts first to paper and then into light drawings in front of his camera. Using memory and body symmetry, he registers “key points” in space that help him to choreograph his often-complex figures
Hannu will also show and discuss his lighting equipment and how he takes advantage of Live Composite to capture his images.
