Kevin Adams is a naturalist, writer, teacher and photographer who has had a lifelong love affair with nature and the outdoors. In addition to photo credits in all manner of publications, Kevin is the author and photographer of nine books.
An accomplished photography instructor, he leads photo tours and teaches numerous workshops and seminars throughout the year. Often called the “MacGyver of Photography,” Kevin also designed and sells several unique products for night photographers.
In 2021 Kevin photographed a new photo every night for his 365Nights project. The resulting 365 images represent a diverse range of night photography subjects, from light-painted waterfalls to mobsters carrying chainsaws.
Kevin lives in Waynesville, North Carolina, with his wife, Patricia, their two cats, Lucy and Titan, eight chickens, a colony of groundhogs that eat Patricia’s plants, and some really cool slime molds that live in the mulch.
